Sự kiện mở màn Trang An Classic tại Trang An Golf & Resort đánh dấu lần đầu tiên VGA Development Tour được tổ chức tại miền Bắc Việt Nam.
Ra đời từ tháng 7/2024, VGA Development Tour đã nhanh chóng nhận được sự chú ý và đánh giá cao từ cộng đồng golfer. Hệ thống giải đấu chuyên nghiệp này mang đến một sân chơi mới, giúp các golfer Việt Nam thi đấu thường xuyên, tích lũy kinh nghiệm, tài chính và chuẩn bị tốt hơn cho các giải đấu tầm cỡ.
Bước sang mùa thứ hai, VGA Development Tour 2025 sẽ khởi tranh với Trang An Classic 2025. Giải đấu do Trang An Golf & Resort phối hợp cùng All Thailand Golf Tour và Thai LPGA Tour tổ chức, dành riêng cho các golfer chuyên nghiệp với tổng quỹ thưởng lên đến 300 triệu đồng.
Trang An Classic 2025 là chặng thứ hai trong chuỗi Road to Trang An Open 2025. Năm vận động viên xuất sắc nhất sẽ giành vé tham dự Trang An Open 2025 – giải đấu quy tụ các golfer chuyên nghiệp hàng đầu thế giới tại vùng di sản Ninh Bình. Đây cũng là cơ hội để các golfer Việt ghi tên mình trên Bảng xếp hạng Golf Thế giới (OWGR), góp phần nâng cao vị thế của golf Việt Nam trên đấu trường quốc tế.
Việc tổ chức sự kiện mở màn tại Trang An Golf & Resort không chỉ đánh dấu lần đầu tiên VGA Development Tour đến với miền Bắc mà còn mở rộng phạm vi, thu hút golfer từ khắp nơi tham gia. Trước đó, trong năm 2024, hệ thống này đã tổ chức thành công 5 sự kiện, bao gồm 4 chặng TKG Jeongsan Challenge tại Taekwang Jeongsan Country Club (Đồng Nai) và The Dàlat at 1200 Open tại The Dàlat at 1200 Country Club & Private Estate.
Đến nay, VGA Development Tour đã ghi nhận 3 nhà vô địch: Sin Dong Min, Trần Lê Duy Nhất và Lê Hữu Giang.

VGA Development Tour Kicks Off 2025 Season with Trang An Classic
The opening event, Trang An Classic, held at Trang An Golf & Resort, marks the first time the VGA Development Tour has ventured into Northern Vietnam.
Since its inception in July 2024, the VGA Development Tour has garnered significant attention and positive feedback from golfers. This professional tournament system has created a fresh platform for Vietnamese golfers to compete regularly, gain experience, secure financial support, and better prepare for major tournaments.
Entering its second season, the VGA Development Tour 2025 will launch with Trang An Classic 2025. Organized by Trang An Golf & Resort in collaboration with All Thailand Golf Tour and Thai LPGA Tour, this event is exclusively for professional golfers and offers a total prize pool of VND 300 million.
Trang An Classic 2025 serves as the second leg of the Road to Trang An Open 2025 series. The top five performers will earn a spot in Trang An Open 2025 – an elite tournament featuring the world’s leading professional golfers, set to take place in the heritage region of Ninh Binh. This also presents a chance for Vietnamese golfers to secure a ranking on the prestigious Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR), elevating Vietnam’s golfing stature on the global stage.
By hosting the season opener at Trang An Golf & Resort, the VGA Development Tour not only makes its debut in the North but also expands its reach, attracting participants from across the country. In 2024, the tour successfully held five events, including four TKG Jeongsan Challenge legs at Taekwang Jeongsan Country Club (Dong Nai) and The Dàlat at 1200 Open at The Dàlat at 1200 Country Club & Private Estate.
To date, the VGA Development Tour has crowned three champions: Sin Dong Min, Tran Le Duy Nhat, and Le Huu Giang.
