These messages struck a chord of deep concern in Saa’s heart. “That’s not Anna,” she confided in an interview. “She wouldn’t just leave with someone she met on the street.” Saa also pointed out the logistical inconsistencies. Ana had planned a trip to Barcelona, making it unlikely she would detour for days with a stranger.
Adding to the peculiarity, Ana’s brother noted that the Spanish used in the texts seemed off, almost like it had been translated using an online tool.

A Shadow of Suspicion: The Husband’s Refusal
