Antonio Brown might sign with Seahawks says Adam Schefter

The Seattle Seahawks could be adding another weapon on the offensive side of the ball: Antonio Brown.

During the offseason, QB Russell Wilson made it clear to the front office that he wanted more support on offense. He also urged them that the offense needs to start with a sense of urgency earlier in the games. Thus far on the year, they have listened as they “Let Russ Cook”. Russ is the current favorite to win the MVP award with an astounding 19 touchdown to 3 interception ratio on the early season. Now, the Seahawks are in the headlines as they are looking to sign star wideout, Antonio Brown.

The Seattle Seahawks signed TE Greg Olsen and WR Philip Dorsett in the offseason. During the season, they also signed WR Josh Gordon, who is still awaiting his reinstatement.

Antonio Brown was suspended for the first eight games of the season for violations of the NFL Personal Conduct policies.

The Seattle Seahawks were one of the teams who were interested in him, prior to his suspension. With only two weeks left in the suspension, Antonio Brown is gathering interest from multiple teams.

At the forefront, are our beloved Seattle Seahawks.

With Antonio Brown’s suspension eligible to end after week 8, the Seattle Seahawks are now positioned to make a push to sign him, though they’re not alone, league sources tell ESPN. Other teams also are interested. pic.twitter.com/ykn1NJ6LUm

Russell Wilson worked out with Antonio Brown in the offseason. In fact, Wilson was the one who encouraged the Seahawks front office to look into bringing in AB. While some feel the Seahawks are stacked at the wideout position with the development of DK Metcalf and consistency of Tyler Lockett, I for one, wouldn’t mind the signing of Antonio Brown.

Antonio Brown should not expect a large sum of money to be offered to him as he has dealt with off-field issues. Every team will be making a similar offer to the star wideout. For AB, the deciding factor should be winning a super bowl. With the way Russell Wilson is playing, I do not see him choosing any other team.

We will wait and see what happens with AB, but it is looking likely that he be will apart of this team in the near future.
