Appearing on FanDuel TV’s Up And Adams on Wednesday, Gronkowski fired back at viewers who supposedly believed he hated Green Bay.

“Actually, I don’t hate the Packers at all,” Gronkowski said.

“I have a newfound love for the Packers. And that’s just a coincidence that I said ‘newfound love’ and the quarterback is Jordan Love.

“But I really do. They’re playing some serious ball. They’re all guys that you’ve never really heard of before.

“They’re all young bucks, they’re the youngest team in the NFL. And you’ve got to respect the way that they’re winning games right now, they way they got into the playoffs and the way they dominated as well.

“They’re playing real football. And I actually really like to watch the Green Bay Packers.

“They’re actually one of my favorite teams right now.”

Green Bay has now won four straight ahead of their Divisional Round matchup against the red-hot San Francisco 49ers.

Pivotal to their success has been the play of first-year starting quarterback Love.

The 2021 first-round draft pick finished the regular season seventh in passing yards (4,159), second in passing touchdowns (32), and tenth in yards per game (244.6).

Against the Cowboys, in what was Love’s playoff debut, he didn’t blink an eye.

He finished the game 16 of 21 for 271 yards and three touchdowns.

Now, Love and co. will have another opportunity to prove Gronkowski’s praise was on the money when they head to Levi’s Stadium on Saturday, January 20 for an 8:15pm ET kickoff.
