B.C. Swifties tried to manifest presale codes to Taylor Swift’s three Vancouver shows on Wednesday, some faring better than others.
Emails to hopeful attendees started going out around 3 p.m., with many taking to social media to share whether they had been selected.

However, a number of people on Reddit noted they weren’t among those to get the code, which is required to purchase tickets, though many did say they were waitlisted.
“I had 8 people register for me and nobody got a code. Makes me wonder who actually GOT a code,” one said.
“All 20 of my friends and family that signed up for me got waitlisted,” said another.
“Nope. 10 friends/family members registered for me and we were all waitlisted plus four of my friends that registered for themselves. I was waitlisted for Seattle, Vegas, and Toronto too,” another user added.
“Congrats to those who got codes! As a person who successfully obtained tickets for Toronto months ago, getting selected and getting the code is just the beginning of the war. Prepare for the bloodbath on sale day,” another user warned.
One user said they received a code, so another commented saying, “F*** you but congratulations.”
It isn’t all negative, though. Many fans who want to attend the popstar’s concerts did luck out and managed to secure a presale code.
“I got a code!!!!!” one Reddit user said.
“I managed to get a code, so happy,” another said.
“Congrats to those who got codes! As a person who successfully obtained tickets for Toronto months ago, getting selected and getting the code is just the beginning of the war. Prepare for the bloodbath on sale day,” another user warned.
Ticketmaster has hinted at anticipated volume, as some users described, noting that not everyone who registered may be able to buy tickets.
“Tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis while currently available inventory lasts,” the company previously said.
Demand for Swift’s The Eras Tour is so big that a lottery system has been used for most of her shows.
Ticketmaster says it uses this system to “ensure more tickets get into the hands of concertgoers.”
“Verified Fan requires registration to help filter out buyers looking to resell tickets, and instead get them to fans who want to attend the show,” the ticket service said.
